Zac Bookman & How to Become Insanely Well-Connected
Apologies for no BizCards recently, been on a bit of a personal hiatus. But back now and easing into it :)
Also, I’m starting another weekly email (Curated by Kalani) where I compress information down and search for needles of insight in haystacks of data. Basically, curating, compiling, and expanding on resources related to deconstructing mental models, identifying business strategies, showcasing the frameworks of recurring success.
Would appreciate it if you checked it out!
Zac Bookman – How Government Works
Michael Bloomberg didn't make $50 billion by raising a bunch of venture capitals and a lot of entrepreneurs that we admire didn't. I think long and hard before going and raising the next round, just because it sounds cool. Certainly, the measure of a company is not how much money it's raised. It's how much it returns to its investors and its shareholders.
Bonus: I helped with the transcript for this episode if you want to check it out.

How to Become Insanely Well-Connected
The title says it all. Incredibly information-dense and practical. Well worth your time.
“You’re only as good as the people you know. That’s why it’s so worth it to make your reputation a priority. Your brand is what people think or say about you when you’re not around. When they see your name in their inbox, think about what you want their first reaction to be. If you follow these principles, your network will naturally widen into a solid foundation. It’s not just about having another high-caliber LinkedIn connection or the email address of a VIP. Those are nice to have, sure, but the real win is knowing those people will respond when you need it.”
