Apologies for no BizCards newsletter last week, been super flat out with other things (transcripts). But I’ve got a good one today to make up for it!
Brad Gerstner and Rich Barton – Thriving in Changing Markets
Sometimes as an entrepreneur, you have to over-index to courage. You have to think about the world that you wish to exist, not the one that does exist.
Bonus: I helped with the transcript for this episode if you want to check it out.

Thinking in Bets By Annie Duke
One of my favourite books on decision making. Duke frames decision making in an easy to understand and implementable way.
We are discouraged from saying “I don’t know” or “I’m not sure”.
We regard those expressions as vague, unhelpful, and even evasive. But getting comfortable with “I’m not sure” is a vital step to being a better decision-maker.
We have to make peace with not knowing.

John Chambers – Pattern Matching, Playbooks, and Winning Product Categories
When John Chambers started at Cisco, they had 400 employees and $70m in sales.
At Cisco’s peak with Chambers as CEO, they had 70,000 people and $47 Billion in sales. A lot to learn from him and his leadership!
Bonus: I also helped with the transcript for this episode :)
